Job description

The Sick Children’s Trust runs “Home from Home” accommodation for families with seriously ill children in hospital. We are looking for a dynamic Trusts and Donor Care Manager who can make an immediate and positive impact to our fundraising activities.

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with major trusts, foundations and hospital partners.  You will have experience at developing excellent trust applications and will enjoy the opportunity to make applications to major trusts maximising opportunities for large donations and multi-year funding for running costs, as well as capital and refurbishment projects.

You will have significant experience in trust fundraising and you’ll bring your track record of securing income from major trusts which is a demonstration of your ability to identify appropriate major donors. You will have the ability to produce compelling cases for support as well as your ability to make high quality applications and confident presentations to major trusts and key stakeholders.

You will also have the opportunity to manage our regular giving and gifts in wills programme. Experience in these areas is not essential but you should have the ability to develop these programmes of income.
