Job description


Snowdrop Project is one of the leading charities in the anti-trafficking sector that provide long-term support to survivors of human trafficking through advocacy, counselling, community activities and a house renovation programme.  The Snowdrop Project has become a respected name in the field being invited to be part of the Anti-Trafficking Monitoring Group, speaking in the House of Lords and provide training to local authorities, police and health professionals in various locations around the UK.


In the last two years Snowdrop Project has seen an exponential growth in the provision of its services by 200% and has become part of significant campaigns such as Lord McColl’s Bill and informing and developing national practice. 

The role:

We are looking for a passionate individual with relevant training and experience to support survivors of trafficking with independent living, legal challenges, psycho-social needs and future plans.  This role is suited to someone with training and/or experience in the social care sector.


You will become part of a vibrant team who are in the job to bring real and lasting change to both our direct beneficiaries and the national and international field.  Your input will ensure that our beneficiaries with complex needs, receive the highest standard of support and advocacy in a way that empowers them to move forwards in to independence and your insight from delivering support will impact national developments.  You will also provide emotional and practical supervision to a small team of trained volunteers who deliver direct support to lower needs individuals.


  • You will need to show that you have a proven track record of providing social care support to vulnerable people;
  • Can demonstrate skills that make you approachable and trustworthy and can deliver critical and supportive feedback to others;
  • Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team;
  • Can keep good written records;
  • Show a passion and commitment to this type of work


We offer a supportive and fun team environement, CPD training opporutnities, individual support with health and wellbeing and a 4% contribution to the pension enrollment scheme.


Role: Female* Senior Caseworker

Hours: 37.5 hours

Days: Mon - Fri; generally 9 - 5

Salary: £25,000

Closing date: Monday 15th June at 9am.  Interviews will be held on w/c 22nd June.  This is likely to be a virtual interview due to covid-19.

Start date: As soon as possible
