The Survivors Trust (TST) is a UK-wide national umbrella agency for 120 specialist voluntary sector organisations providing support for the impact of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse throughout the UK and Ireland for women, men, young people and children.
TST provides support and networking for member agencies; deliver accredited training; raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse and its effect on survivors, their supporters and society at large; promote effective responses to rape and sexual abuse on a local, regional and national level.
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our friendly team on a part time basis to perform the role of Finance Officer.
The right candidate will ideally have previous experience in a Finance Officer role and be part-qualified AAT (level 3) or equivalent with excellent analytical and numerical skills. They will be experienced in using financial software, eg Xero, SAGE, and knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures. The role will involve managing multiple restricted funding streams, producing financial reports for trustees and funders, budgets and cash-flows.
Previous experience of working in the voluntary sector would be helpful but not essential, as training and a full induction will be provided. A good level of education, the ability to articulate themselves in a friendly and professional manner and IT competency are essential.
The role will be based at our head office in Rugby, Warwickshire.
You will be required to undergo enhanced DBS clearance to work at The Survivors Trust and references will be sought.
