The Survivors Trust (TST) is a UK-wide national umbrella agency for 130 specialist organisations providing support for the impact of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse throughout the UK and Ireland for women, men, young people and children.
We provide support and networking for member agencies; deliver accredited training; raise awareness about rape and sexual abuse and its effect on survivors, their supporters and society at large; promote effective responses to rape and sexual abuse on a local, regional and national level.
We are looking for someone to join our friendly team on a full time basis to perform the role of Fundraising & Training Support Officer. This will include researching fundraising opportunities, writing grant applications, providing support to community fundraisers and assisting our Training & Development Manager with our many training projects.
We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team. The right candidate will ideally have previous experience in the voluntary sector, although training and a full induction will be provided. A good level of education, the ability to articulate themselves in a friendly and professional manner and IT and social media competency is essential.
The Fundraising & Training Support Officer should also have existing experience in developing funding applications, researching funding opportunities, supporting the community fundraisers and building relationships with donors and fundraisers.
The role will be based at our head office in Rugby, Warwickshire.
You will be required to undergo enhanced DBS clearance to work at The Survivors Trust and references will be sought.
