An exciting new temporary position as an Events Manager has come up with a fantastic client of ours within the charity sector.
The key responsibilities include
Ensure strong financial management of signature events, controlling and monitoring expenditure, delivering income against targeting and managing KPI’s
To identify ways to attract new audiences to the organisations signature events
To work closely with other teams through the organisation to ensure all opportunities surrounding the events are optimised and our key supports receive regular communications.
Maintain good practice in using the data base, ensuring all information is recorded correctly and allow for excellent support care and accurate analysis of event performance.
The ideal person for the role will
Proven experience of project managing several fundraising events including negotiating with external contractors and delivering to budget timely.
Experience of working with senior stakeholders in order to meet income targets and to collaborate in a small hardworking team.
Ability to lead and motivate a team including direct reports and cross-team members to deliver results
Ability to work on several different projects simultaneously.
