Job description

We are on the lookout for a fantastic interim Senior Digital Content Officer to help a public sector client of ours on an interim basis with a potential view to go permanent even.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Helping create and issuing accurate and engaging content across a broad range of traditional and social media channels.
  • To develop content strategies to grow an online community, tracking the communities growth and increasing engagement between the organisation and their key audiences
  • Helping manage the monitoring and evaluation of content across all platforms, including email and social media to ascertain content engagement levels.
  •  Proactively helping promoting key aspects of the organisations work and as well as ensuring reactive issues are handled efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Working within a public sector, charity or NFP related environment
  • Excellent knowledge of how to use engaging content including infographics, short film, imagery and animation to drive up the success of campaigns and news engagement.
  • Ability to produce excellent copy and work with a range of stakeholders from junior to senior members of staff.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), a strong negotiator who thinks through the tone, method, channel and content that best suits the situation and audience, switching communication and influence style where needed.

This is a 2-3 month rolling contract with a view to go permanent if it all goes well.

Looking at £32-39k pro rata on a day rate and interviews happening asap.
