Welfare charity are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual who has the experience and flair to plan and execute regional fundraising activities. The role can be home based in Sussex or Kent or based at the Brighton office.
Manage community and events fundraising across Kent and Sussex
Monitor all fundraising activity for return on investment and growth potential ensuring that this activity will contribute to develop sustainable regional fundraising support for the charity.
Manage own performance and performance of fundraising activities to ensure that targets are achieved developing contingency and implementing new products and approaches to ensure targets are achieved. . Work collaboratively with other fundraising teams to identify major donors, corporates, regular givers, legacy pledgers and trusts in the region to maximise support and potential income across the charity
Work collaboratively with Regional Managers and Community Team Leaders to maximise income from the regions and communities
Work with other departments in the charity to develop project-focused, local fundraising
Experience of developing, implementing and successful delivery of a regional fundraising plan
Experience of proactively developing a portfolio of fundraising activity that has delivered six figure gross income (i.e. 100,000 plus)
Experience of delivering and managing traditional community fundraising, events fundraising and corporate fundraising at a charity
A track record of leading and managing a team to achieve a step increase in income from community fundraising activity and to achieve/surpass fundraising targets.
Ability to demonstrate success in growing regional and community fundraising activity in a crowded market, for similar non-profit organisations
Experience of assessing return on investment and growth potential with ability to see the bigger picture and make good choices
Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively and building effective relationships with a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders
Excellent skills in project management, planning and budgeting.
The successful candidate must also hold a valid drivers licence or have the ability to travel across the country.
