Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Corporate New Business Manager with a strong track record of delivering new business development within the charity sector to work for a large well loved animal charity.

The Charity:
One of the largest animal welfare organisations in the UK. With wonderful animal friendly open plan office space in London.

The Role:
Support the Head of Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships by developing, delivering and monitoring the new business aspects of the corporate partnerships strategy.
Create relevant, professional, inspiring and successful applications, proposals and presentations for the pitches for potential corporate partners.
Deliver annual events targeted at new corporate supporters at a national and local level (including one-to one meetings, receptions and events)
Manage the performance and professional development of direct reports in the corporate partnerships team.
Work collaboratively with the corporate partnerships Team Manager to deliver the corporate partnerships strategy, including identifying opportunities to dovetail cultivation and stewardship activity, such as special events.
Work with the Ambassador Relations Manager to ensure Ambassadors and celebrity supports are utilised fully to support corporate fundraising
Manage a new business, PR and Marketing working group to ensure new partnerships are launched with creative and inspiring messaging, narrative and concepts that appeal to each partnerships target audience.
Forecast and manage income and expenditure budgets for new partnerships ensuring records are maintained and updated to enable income reporting and analysis of activity.

The Candidate:
A proven track record of delivering exceptional new business development in a charity setting, including demonstrating ability to uplift the value of existing partnerships.
Experience of line managing or supervising staff to deliver excellent work and supporting their professional development
Demonstrable experience of writing successful, inspiring, emotive and technically accurate proposals and pitches, tailored to a corporate audience
Appreciation of different budget holders within companies who may be interested in a partnership with this charity and full understanding of different types of corporate partnerships (i.e commercial and philanthropic)
Good Organisation skills, and competent in the use of Word, Excel and databases.
