This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of fundraising work for an amazing health care charity. As a Fundraising Officer, the post holder will have the opportunity to help make a real difference by raising vital funds for our work supporting those affected.
A leading health care charity that supports women and their families living with illness.
Implement stewardship and communication plans for individual supporters (e.g. individual givers) and fundraisers to ensure that they are receiving the highest level of stewardship.
Identify any major donors, trustees of trusts and organisational links that may be of interest and flag to the appropriate colleagues in the team.
Run reports on new donors, processing payments where necessary (e.g. cheque,CAF, BACS or cash donations) and implement donor thanking such as sending thank you emails letters, cards, making calls or certificates as appropriate.
In collaboration with the communications team, find creative ways to promote fundraising activities and achieve income growth maximising the impact of the organisations external channels and awareness weeks and campaigns.
As part of individual supporter journeys identify and recommend options to promote legacies across our supporter base and where appropriate across organisational channels.
Project manage supporter and fundraiser events and support colleagues on fundraising events they might be leading on.
Previous fundraising experience.
Experience of building fundraising relationships.
Experience of donor care or customer service.
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of working with a database or CRM system.
