This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Professional Engagement Manager to develop and maintain meaningful and constructive engagement with healthcare professionals in order to progress improvements in Northern Ireland for a leading health charity.
The Charity A leading national health charity who have created the biggest health initiative in the UK.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical champions and local statutory organisations
Promote the charity in Northern Ireland linking with the communications and public affairs manager and central diabetes teams to ensure a cross organisational collaborative approach.
Represent the charity externally at meetings as agreed with the National Director.
Act as a media spokesperson regarding campaigns and current healthcare activity, alongside the National Director.
Involved in the recruitment and training and to provide support and ongoing management, to volunteers.
Monitor and evaluate progress of the implementation of the diabetes strategic plan in conjuction with the National Director and develop effective relationships that promote the role.
Input into the education and development of health care professionals and contribute to the strategic direction of how education should evolve.
Engage with local researchers to guide and support development of the charitys research that meets the needs of people through engaging and supporting volunteers in the research partnership group.
Proven experience of working in a healthcare environment.
Knowledge of the voluntary or charity sector.
Robust knowledge of the Northern Ireland healthcare system.
Present complex information in a form appropriate to the audience.
A registered healthcare professional.
Clean UK/Irish Driving licenses and access to a car for work purposes.
