We are recruiting for a HR Operations coordinator for a passionate support based charity for Prisoners , you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of HR operations .
Charity Is a national charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions, and their families. We support people to make a fresh start, and minimise the harm that can be caused by imprisonment to people who have committed offences, to families and to communities.
Deliver HR helpdesk
Line management of the HR Administrator and HR volunteers
Cascade and HR processes
Operational delivery of recruitment
Contracts and HR correspondence
To oversee the timely production of all routine HR correspondence (offer letters, contracts of employment, variations to contracts and so on) delivered in the most effective way (e.g. via post/ email/ Cascade).
Oversee key routine HR processes, To work with the HR Manager to deliver and develop Pacts HR processes ensuring they are as effective as possible
To take ownership of key employee information
Analysis and reporting
General support to other HR activities
Experience of delivering HR operations in a busy complex organisation ideally including most of the following
Vetting / pre-employment checks
Onboarding and employee lifecycle
HR aspects of payroll
Correspondence and contracts
Providing advice and guidance to line managers
Experience of training or guiding line managers in HR processes
Experience of using technology (in particular HR systems) to enhance and modernise HR operations.
Experience of line management
Competent knowledge of HR processes within the employee lifecycle
