Job description

We are recruiting for a Part time Finance /Administrator assistant for an growing international development charity working with young people. This role is 21 hours a week, a FTC for 12 months and you will be working remotely.



The Role
Finance
Prepare biweekly payment runs and enter data into the Quick Books accounts system. This will involve
- accurately allocating invoices to both departments/projects and nominal ledgers
- Ensuring that invoices are correctly authorised in accordance on budget holders approval limits.
Handling and responding to supplier queries
Bank reconciliations
Credit Card reconciliations
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Assist in preparing donor reports including a monthly budget Vs actual report.
Assist in preparing Audit Schedules
Electronic filing of documents.
Ensure that proper internal controls are followed for all transactions.

Administration
Ordering New starter equipment.
Inputting (contact) details into Sales Force.
Assist the Finance Director with correspondence with suppliers, Legal and other professionals.


The Candidate
Experience in purchase ledger
Bank reconciliations
Donor reporting
Budget Vs actual reporting
Keeping and maintain records. S/he must be highly organised as the work will entail a huge amount of electronic record keeping
Must have experience in Quick books (preferably the online version).
Must be able to able to work unsupervised and work well across the teams of the organisation. The post holder must be ACCA Part 1 qualified (or equivalent) and studying towards full qualification.
