This is a great role for an experienced Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to act as a lead, managing the philanthropy & partnerships team to deliver significant sources of income for key Hospice services and projects,
This amazing hospice is the only independent hospice in Central London and treats over 4,000 terminally ill patients and their families each year for free.
Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to develop philanthropy and trust strategies, leading on their implementation
Research and develop new income generation opportunities
Leading on the production of materials for donors and applications.
Ensure proactive growth of all aspects of trusts and philanthropy income
Manage a team of three philanthropy & partnerships staff
Develop the learning and experience of the team through training and coaching.
Lead on work to identify and monitor service priorities and projects to match to relevant funding priorities.
Work in collaboration with clinicians where appropriate to fulfil funding opportunities
Operate as a spokesperson working closely with the Head of Fundraising to manage high level and complex trust and major donor relationships.
Manage a sizeable portfolio of major donors, prospects and trust supporters
Experience in high value fundraising or commercial equivalent
Personal experience of securing and supporting donations of six figure sums.
Line management or supervisory experience
Experience of winning significant funding from trusts and foundations or commercial equivalent
Track record of stakeholder engagement and working with staff at all levels
Experience of contributing to strategies in line with organisational plans
Experience in using Windows-based software packages
Experience of Raisers Edge or other CRM system
Educated to Degree Level or equivalent.
