In this role you will be responsible for the management of the direct marketing programme to engage, retain and raise cash income from existing and new donors for a leading UK homelessness charity. You will lead on the development of effective campaign strategies, ensuring collaboration and alignment with other IG campaigns.

Cost effective and timely execution of appeals to raise income. You will have to implement these from beginning to end using a variety of channels and direct marketing techniques.
Ensure personalisation and tailoring in content and prompting strategy. Developing an innovative testing strategy.
The role will also be responsible for supporter newsletters together with the Virtual Gifts programme.
To take a pro-active role working collaboratively with agencies and internal teams i.e. Comms, Digital, Corporate, Events, Creative, Media & PR etc.
Lead the development of cross-directorate relationships to ensure the delivery of high quality appeals, campaigns and user experience.
Proven experience of end to end direct marketing campaign management, ideally including developing new creative approaches, testing recommendations, prompting strategies and sourcing, managing,
negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
Strong working knowledge of direct marketing techniques and mechanics such as regular giving products, supporter journeys, prompt strategies etc. Direct hands-on experience having led on these campaigns.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage a variety of projects and activities to tight deadlines.
Knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Raisers Edge), email broadcast systems i.e. Dotmailer or similar and Google Analytics.
