In this exciting position you will be responsible for increasing income by strategically developing, implementing, managing and analysing campaigns to recruit new supporters through a variety of different channels for this leading UK homelessness charity.
This is a leading charity for homeless people, providing vulnerable people with a place to call home and a chance to acquire the skills they need to build a better future.
Development of strategy across own portfolio of campaigns, including testing plans covering data, messaging and any other ways to proactively improve lifetime value of new donors.
Develop proposals for different ways of running campaigns or new ideas.
Ensuring that all activity and campaigns are carried out in line with organisational aims and especially the IG strategy.
Track income and expenditure for each acquisition campaign ensuring they deliver on target, reporting on variance between budget and actuals regularly and proactively managing agencies accordingly.
Developing new budgets as required, for new campaigns and recommended proposals.
Demonstrable experience of working in a busy direct marketing environment, working to tight deadlines.
Experience of writing fundraising / direct marketing copy.
Proven experience of DM campaign management ideally including developing new creative approaches, and sourcing, managing, negotiating and liaising with suppliers.
Strong working knowledge of direct marketing techniques and mechanics such as press, inserts, digital and DRTV.* Direct hands-on experience would be an advantage.
