Job description

In this exciting and high-profile role, you will lead on writing trust applications, managing the existing portfolio and providing an in-house consultancy service.

The Charity A leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity and exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth.

The Role
Scope the Trust project pipeline and ensure necessary systems and templates are in place
Build relationships, multiyear partnerships and income from existing trusts and foundations
Manage the Trusts agency ensuring that consultancy support is targeted and appropriate
Write tailored, inspirational applications and project reports
Keep up to date with sector knowledge regarding Trusts fundraising techniques, resources and donor trends

The Candidate
Experience of developing and implementing a trust fundraising programme
Proven record of securing significant grants from Trusts and other grant-making bodies.
Experience of prospect research using a variety of tools and techniques.
Experience of researching Trust funding opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences and experience of telephone pitching and making presentations.
