As an experienced Temporary Senior Recruitment Advisor you will support and partner with Office Managers and Senior Leaders across the Trust in the recruitment of staff, ensuring safer recruitment is paramount for an educational charity and multi-academy trust.
Working with the HR Advisors, to audit recruitment processes, Single Central Records and HR files remotely and within academies, to ensure they are compliant with safer recruitment practices and the right candidates are being appointed. When undertaking audits, to provide clear and concise feedback with defined actions, and to follow-up on actions to ensure completion.
To work in close collaboration with colleagues, within the HR team and from other teams, to keep up-to-date with academy activities, share information and ensure awareness of any potential upcoming recruitment needs and challenges.
To ensure a compliant process including effective on-boarding and relevant pre-employment checks are undertaken for all individuals and inputted onto the Single Centre Record (SCR). This will sometimes include the need to challenge managers who arent following process correctly (e.g. starting employees prior to checks being undertaken, wanting to pay beyond evaluated bands etc.)
With direction from the Head of HR and Recruitment, to undertake value adding projects to transform the recruitment function to meet the needs of our growing organisation.
To broker relationships with external recruitment agencies and to work with them to source candidates for temporary and hard to fill permanent roles. This includes negotiation of rates and ensuring VFM obtained for the Proffered Supplier List (PSL); agreeing T&Cs; confirming vetting procedures and managing ongoing relationships.
Experience of advising managers on a wide range of recruitment options.
Solid experience of direct sourcing methods including headhunting job boards.
Successful track record of managing end to end recruitment campaigns.
Experience of using a variety of recruitment assessment techniques.
