This is a fantastic opportunity to join the successful Trusts and Grants team to manage and develop a portfolio of trust donors, securing long term, increased value for this inspiring health charity.

The Role
To manage and develop a portfolio of trust donors, securing long term, increased value.
To develop a stewardship programme of your own portfolio, including writing relationship development plans for account managed trust donors and prospects and following through on agreed next steps.
To contribute to the planning, organisation and execution of trust prospect cultivation and trust donor stewardship events. To contribute to the teams overall stewardship plans in order to build strong and lasting face to face relationships with Trustees.
To research and tailor project information, in order to write appropriate and compelling grant applications which meet the aims and objectives of grant making bodies.
To play a full role as a member of the Trust and Lottery Team, working with colleagues from the Major Donor and corporate teams to ensure that all opportunities and prospects are developed to their full potential.

The Candidate
Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets.
Proven track record of successfully applying to charitable trusts and/or the Big lottery Fund and preparing written reports to fundraisers.
Demonstrable experience of writing high quality, persuasive applications to potential funders.
Ability to influence , persuade and negotiate with trustees and key decision-makers of grant making bodies, both in writing and face to face.
