The Foundation is recruiting a Portal Project Coordinator to join our TrustLaw team in London on a fixed term basis.

The role

The person in this role will coordinate the transformation of the TrustLaw portal – driving work to take it from a simple platform, through which we connect high-impact NGOs and social enterprises with leading law firms and corporate legal teams, to an interactive ecosystem that also offers opportunities for learning, knowledge-sharing, innovation, networking and collaboration.  

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving a successful, global pro bono legal service that helps NGOs, social enterprises and lawyers drive social change.   Please note that this is not a legal role and is focused on project management of a platform development project.

This is a fixed-term position starting in October 2021 and running through December 2022 with a potential for extension pending available funding and business needs. 

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of the TrustLaw service and portal overhaul project, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met, project documents are in order and stakeholders are informed
  • Coordinate relationships (e.g., stakeholders, tech partners, etc) and project meetings
  • Manage project governance and administration (e.g., procurement, coordinating user testing, preparing discovery inputs, etc.)
  • Draft communications materials (e.g., donor reports, presentations, case studies, etc)
  • Organise events and trainings on using the new portal and support members in using the new portal
  • Develop and update documentation, workflows/process maps and user guidance for the new portal
  • Support the team in rolling out and developing new portal features and offerings
  • Track bugs, glitches, feedback and future development needs for the new portal; coordinate fixes with technology teams

Work hours that overlap significantly with portal team availability (GMT-6 and GMT-8), which will require multiple late shifts each week

To be our Portal Project Coordinator you will likely have:  

  • Experience managing fast-paced projects with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders
  • An ability to quickly understand and use new databases (e.g., Salesforce), platforms and technology. 
  • A heightened affinity for detail and ability to spot and address anomalies
  • Strong communication skills and experience preparing reports
  • Experience organising events and meetings
  • Experience in the charitable, pro bono or social impact sectors
