Job Description

Do you want to help build a world where everyone feels part of a community? We're seeking someone with excellent organisational skills, marketing experience, and a passion for community, to provide administrative and marketing support to our programmes at T&T.

What we do

At Time & Talents, we create fun, friendship, and mutual support, to create a world where everyone feels part of a community. We work with people of all ages in a lively, creative and supportive centre, running activity programmes for children and families, older people and adults, and offer additional support to those with physical and mental health issues in accessing our programmes. Last year, we worked with around 7000 people of all ages in the wider community, from two unique venues in Southwark – in Rotherhithe and Canada Water. With so much happening, we need someone to play a key role in helping us keep on top of our growing administrative, marketing, and venue management  – as well as pitching in with exciting projects, such as our children’s programme events and our annual local community festival. You’ll work from our beautiful heritage building based in mature gardens in leafy Rotherhithe.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Keep things organised and ship-shape by providing administrative support to the programme management team – from calendar and data management as well as invoicing to cash handling
  • Deal with enquiries and make bookings for our spaces using our bookings system – dealing directly with the customers who hire for parties, events, and activities
  • Help deliver our creative marketing and outreach across social, print, web-based media, face to face
  • Assist in the running of groups, seasonal events and a local festival
  • Be a part of the day to day life of a lively, busy community centre where no two days are the same

About you

You are highly organised, have excellent literacy and numeracy, and a good knowledge of a wide range of marketing tools. You’ll have experience of working in an administrative, customer facing environment, and preferably, have experience of, or a demonstrable passion for working in a community setting, with people with a wide range of needs and abilities. Most of all, you’ll be flexible enough to turn your hand to different tasks across the organisation and prioritise well – this is a great opportunity to get your teeth into charity work, in a great community setting.
