Job description

The Young People's Counsellor will work on The Right Angle project which is a collaborative project between TLC: Talk, Listen Change (TLC) and The Tutor Trust in supporting children who are at risk of exclusion, in alternative provision, or who are looked after or have a social care plan. Both organisations have long histories of supporting young people to make meaningful and lasting changes to their lives: The Tutor Trust through tuition and TLC: Talk, Listen, Change through Counselling and therapy.

We are excited that The Right Angle is now beginning its fourth year supporting vulnerable young people to reach their full potential, helping them lead happier, healthier lives, through the benefits of combining academic and emotional support.

The counsellor will be based in an education setting.

The hours of work are 12 hours per week

The post is term time only and is funded until 31st August 2022.
