To enable service users with complex learning disabilities, and/or an autism spectrum condition, to lead an independent life having due regard to their health, aspirations and social needs within their home living environment.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about championing for people with disabilities. Someone who has excellent communication and literacy skills. Who has a level 2 QCF (or willing to work towards this) and someone who has knowledge and understanding of those with disabilities and autism.
The post holder will be employed within a supported tenancy in the Stockport area. The aims of the role is to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community, in order to empower the service users to take control of their own lives. The main focus is to provide the highest level of support in order to enable greater independence, choice and fulfilment for the service users.
Working alongside our existing team, you will offer a diverse range of exciting and varied activities for people aged 18+. The work you deliver will be based on a person centred framework and will focus on developing community integration and independence skills in order to help reduce barriers. Facilitating socialisation and developing meaningful relationships is a key element to the role.
The service users will have a variety of complex needs which may include learning difficulties, Autism spectrum conditions, including behaviours perceived as challenging, mobility, communication, health and social care needs.
