Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.
Your Way Workers play a key role in our mental health support service at Berkshire West Your Way in Reading. The service provides a wide range of activities as well as peer support and one-to-one support with the aim of aiding people’s recovery and staying well.
The role of Your Way Worker involves providing flexible, personalised support and guidance, promoting recovery, wellbeing and independence, with the emphasis on community engagement and self-management. This post involves autonomous, mobile working in the community, across Reading, Wokingham and West Berks.
Workers will be required to coordinate and maintain their own workload, reporting on their activity as required. This is a relief post, covering for other Your Way Workers as required.
Enhanced DBS check required.
Interviews will be held on: 3rd December 2019
We have a firm commitment to encouraging fairness and diversity in our work force and we welcome applications from disabled people and those from BAME backgrounds.
