Exciting opportunity to work for a growing charity as a part-time fundraiser

Tom’s Trust provides psychological support for children with brain tumours and their families in the East of England and in the North East.  Our vocation is to provide psychological support to all children in the UK diagnosed with a brain tumour and to support their families too.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a supportive, approachable, and personable individual to join our dynamic fundraising team.

Based: Cambridge
Hours: Part-time

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years fundraising experience

Drivers Licence

Good IT skills essential

Events management experience

Some experience of marketing useful but not essential

Some experience of Corporate Fundraising useful

 

Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

As a Community Fundraiser, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, providing fundraising guidance and support for volunteer fundraisers, and develop new fundraising opportunities and networks, ensuring the highest level of supporter care.  You will be open to new ideas and work easily within a small, dynamic team as well as have a flexible working attitude.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies and an ability to create motivating and inspiring proposals to volunteer fundraisers. You will be a confident , community minded person and have an experience in building trust and relationships with our supporters

Full driving license and use of own car will be required.
