Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) Caseworker
The case worker will be part of a small but busy team that supports parents who request help with the processes involved in a variety of issues to do with education health and social care. It is a demanding role that requires the applicant to be able to work with sensitive information, have outstanding interpersonal skills and work well under pressure.
You will be required to have experience in working either in a school, educational or advice giving setting and have a demonstrable understanding of the law pertaining to all aspects of educational legislation and to Special Educational Needs in particular.
It is essential that you can work as part of a team as well as independently.
