To ensure inclusion underpins all we do at Touch Network, especially in volunteering and outreach. The role includes designing and implementing a ‘micro-volunteering’ system as well as leading on providing equal access to our opportunities and resources, including making improvements to the way we do things. The role is designed to be ‘out and about’ – meeting people, listening to them and ensuring Touch meets the needs of those who want to get involved, especially in more marginalised and/or excluded communities.
Purpose of Role:
To challenge and support everyone working as part of Touch to ensure our community is genuinely open to all and to ensure we have done all we can to ensure our community is equally accessible for all, by being out and about, reaching, communicating and involving all different groups of people of Southampton.
