Service User Consultant - Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS)
Location: Leeds
Salary: NJC Scale Points 7 - 11, starting at £20,092 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 12 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months

Touchstone is part of the new Primary Care Mental Health Service (PCMHS) for Leeds - the Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS). This exciting new partnership is mobilising and delivering an integrated service to offer mental health support for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems. Together, our partnership will help thousands of people in Leeds to increase their resilience and live their best lives within their community.

The successful post holder will support people who have used LMWS to become more involved in shaping how the service is designed, developed and delivered. They will support all stages of coproduction project work, from designing and carrying out research activities to testing and iterating ideas for improving the service. They will also build relationships both within the service and across the diverse communities of Leeds to connect people up with the service’s coproduction work. This role is an opportunity to develop new skills, understanding and experience in coproduction and co-design.

The post holder will be based in the LMWS Coproduction team with the Coproduction Coordinator and Coproduction Administrators. The Coproduction team coordinates and works alongside the LMWS Coproduction Network, a network of people who work for LMWS, have used LMWS, have experience of mental health difficulties or have an interest in improving mental health services in Leeds. The LMWS Coproduction team is based within the wider Touchstone LMWS team which currently includes: 9 CBT Therapists, 3 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, 1 Coproduction Coordinator, 1 Peer Support Coordinator, 1 Peer and Volunteer Development Worker, 2 Peer Support Workers, 29 Peer Support Volunteers, 1 Employment Advisor, 3 Administrators, 1 Team Manager and 2 Deputy Managers.
