Touchstone has been awarded NHS funding to run a Wakefield Safe Space in the early evening and at night, delivered in partnership with Spectrum People and GASPED. The Wakefield Safe Space will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, between the hours of 6pm – 12am. The Wakefield Safe Space provides a non-clinical setting to support 12 adults at a time to access support in a crisis, as an alternative to A&E. The post holder will support people in acute distress, including 1-2-1 support, support planning and liaising with local services.
The post holder will provide leadership to the Wakefield Safe Space team, including managing the day to day delivery of the Safe Space and supporting people in acute distress, including one to one support, support planning and liaising with local services.
