Salary: Starting at NJC Scale Point 12, £21,589 pa / pro rata

1 x 37 hours per week – Touchstone
1 x 18.5 – 30 hours per week – Touchstone
1 x 37 hours per week (fixed point, pay award pending) – Advonet
ASK4Advocacy is an exciting new advocacy service that provides statutory and non-statutory advocacy services across the District of Kirklees. The service is a partnership between Touchstone and Advonet bringing together a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise across the voluntary sector as well as tremendous personal development opportunities for the right candidates.
We are looking to recruit three new advocates to join our experienced and dedicated team based in Dewsbury. Two of the posts are employed directly by Touchstone and one is employed directly by Advonet; all roles are based in Kirklees.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience of Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) or mental health, NHS complaints advocacy, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), and/or the ability to speak Punjabi, Urdu, or Gujarati.
