Job description

The Tower Project is looking to recruit residential Support Workers with our Supported Living Service in the E16 area. The post holder will be responsible for providing support to our young adults based on their individual needs and desires. You will be required to assist the day to day organisation and effective running of the services in compliance with the wishes of the individuals the Tower Project supports to live independently. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

To provide support for people that is based on their individual needs, desires and aspirations. To assist for the day to day organisation and effective running of services in compliance with the wishes of the individuals the Tower Project supports to live independently, the contractual obligations to the purchasing agencies, and legislative, statutory and organisation requirements.  

To provide support to people in a way that is respectful, promotes independence and enables the individuals you support to realise their own potential. To promote good practice at all times, act as an effective and positive role model.  

To support individuals in accessing the community, in their own homes or in any setting their needs and choices may require. 

To work as a member of a team under the guidance of the Manager and Deputy manager.
