The TPP Fundraising and Development team are working with a leading health charity based in Central London - supporting the search for an interim Area Fundraising Manager. This 6 month contract will oversee the fundraising activity for the London/South East/Eastern region - managing and supporting a team of regionally based fundraisers to deliver income and achieve net contribution targets.
Working with the Senior Community Fundraising Manager and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver our Community Fundraising Strategy, you will specifically:
- Deliver income and net contribution targets, through effective budget management, ensuring that all regionally-based staff meet targets
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a community fundraising acquisition strategy to recruit and manage new supporters and grow income
- Represent the charity at fundraising events and stakeholder meetings within the community.
A key priority for this role is the effective management of a small remotely-based fundraising team - therefore, experience of managing staff will be key. It is likely that you will have experience in Community Fundraising, however you will undoubtedly have excellent communication skills and be able to manage multiple priorities/work under pressure to deadlines. As with most community fundraising roles, some travel is required - therefore you will need to have access to your own vehicle to be considered.
