TPP are delighted to be working with a UK charity that was founded by the prince of Wales. Due to growth they are recruiting a Business systems Manager. This is an exciting time to join the charity.

This role will offer a mix of office and home working. ( Currently working from home due to the Pandemic )

A strong communicator is required for this role. Internal relationships and managing suppliers are a crucial part to the role. You will need to be a people's person. This role will involve a lot of responsibility, you will make this role your own and be solely responsible for this area with support of external suppliers.

You would be working with a friendly and sociable team.

The ideal candidate will understand how to ensure the right data is being captured and have experience of interrogating and analysing large datasets in MS Excel and tools such as Power BI to create meaningful insights.

Working with external partners and reporting to the Operations Director, this role will also have responsibility for the smooth running and high availability of core business systems on a daily basis. This will involve monitoring and reacting where necessary to engage with support teams.

Some of the Key Responsibilities:
1. Systems Management and Evolution
Maintain and monitor systems security, availability and resilience
Identify opportunities for change to meet organisational goals and build business cases that reflect value and ROI
Design, manage and test system changes and optimisations, with privacy and security by design
Monitor data quality across all databases and touchpoints, including sync and refresh processes
Work with key suppliers to deliver exceptional service according to defined levels

2. Data Analysis and Reporting
Work across all teams to identify and define business critical reporting
Translate business requirements to technical solutions
Build models and structured analyses to link past performance with future projections
Visualise data, illustrate trends and monitor KPIs
Create meaningful insights which drive operational, management and board level decision making

3. Tech Champion
Build a tech-first culture with skilled and confident users
Empower teams to identify inefficiencies and work with them to convert to opportunities
Establish best practice ways of working, analyse and streamline business processes
Maintain an accessible and dynamic knowledge base
Deliver internal training to upskill teams and cascade knowledge, building our resilience

The skills and experience required for this role:

Skills and knowledge
Sound knowledge of ERP systems, ideally Dynamics Nav/Business Central
Hands-on knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Dynamics 365
Demonstrable skills in data analysis, visualisation and BI reporting
Understanding of relational databases and design
Good knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V
Relevant qualifications in a computer science, data analytics or business analysis area
Ability to communicate complex or technical ideas simply and effectively
Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good current understanding of data compliance, privacy and protection
Innovative and skilled at looking for solutions and opportunities

Relevant experience
Working with integrated business critical systems
Working with BI and analytical tools such as Power BI, Jet reports, Quicksight, Tableau
Managing Office 365 and Azure AD environments
Understanding of e-commerce platforms, ideally Magento
Managing support and change requests
Managing third party suppliers and vendors
Being an approachable collaborator at all levels of an organisation
Working in a retail or sales analytics environment (D)
Working with AWS EC2 (D)
Working in the not for profit sector (D)
