A STEM based charity who work across the UK to develop and deliver a range of programmes to provide opportunities for young people to encourage them to consider a career in STEM, are recruiting for a Programme Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the delivery of 2 flagship programmes.
The charity deliver two programmes targeted at Secondary School aged pupils which aims to get them placed in a STEM related university course in the UK to then inspire them to study a STEM related subject beyond school.
Based in Welwyn Garden City, in a small but busy office, you'll be the first point of contact for students, parents, universities and sponsors and will coordinate the administrative delivery for the programmes.
Your role will vary throughout the year and will include coordinating activities that help place secondary school pupils into universities, supporting the communications team with marketing campaigns and coordinating the 8 week delivery of the programmes that take place in Universities across the UK.
As the Programme Coordinator, you'll also be involved in producing reports, publishing success stories on social media and other activities relating to the programmes.
As someone who has a real passion for education programme coordination, you will use your enthusiasm, confidence, communication and interpersonal skills to support the wider team. You may have experience of coordinating programmes in a charity, school, university or college setting.
You will have high level administration skills and will be an advanced user of Microsoft Office including CRM or a similar database. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be imperative for this role.

Some travel across the UK may be involved.
