A college and professional membership body has a brand-new role for an Education Training and Events Executive to join their close-knit and ambitious Events team. You will be a key member of the team in charge of running a busy calendar of online and face to face events for UK eye care professionals. This is a 1-year full-time contract, with potential to become a permanent contract afterwards. The office is based in Central London and flexible hybrid working options are offered.
As the Education Training and Events Executive, you will work closely with the Education team to plan and deliver a range of events for different audiences including assessor, examiner and supervisor training, a series of virtual workshops, student presentations, and webinars. You will also work one day a week within the Events team to assist with the co-ordination of continuing professional development events for members. You will advise colleagues in other teams on running events as well as liaising with senior colleagues regarding the events.
You will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience of planning and delivering a range of online and physical events
* Experience of developing and delivering improvements to events.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A keen eye for detail for overseeing event material, information, and other resources
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
