At Blind Veterans UK, we believe that no one who has served our country should have to battle blindness alone. It is our mission to ensure that blind ex-Servicemen and women have access to the finest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.
The number of veterans we help is increasing rapidly as we implement our overall strategy to embed a national footprint and take our exceptional services to the beneficiary. To support this, we have developed an ambitious fundraising and engagement strategy to develop our brand and significantly grow our income over the next 5 years.
To achieve this, we are looking to recruit to 5 new senior posts across the Engagement and Fundraising division - each with responsibility for a key strand of the new strategy. This specific opportunity is to lead our Brand and Marketing team.
We need an exceptional individual to develop and manage the Blind Veterans UK brand such that it connects the organisation with its target audiences. You will engage staff across the organisation with the brand, and lead a team of circa 10 people to raise awareness, understanding and consideration of the organisation.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record of developing and managing a brand, in addition to experience of having lead on all aspects of corporate marketing. You will have significant experience of leading diverse teams, and a strong knowledge of the digital channel, including the development of websites.
