You'll be reporting to a senior Director and managing a team of two. You'll be at the heart of delivering their five-year strategy on Diversity and Inclusion.
This important position will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisations strategy on Diversity and Inclusion at all levels within the world of Physics. You'll lead on developing frameworks, tools and policies that help the organisation achieve its strategy on D&I. You'll also be managing the Diversity and Inclusion budget of circa £100k.
The post holder will focus on the following areas of Diversity, Gender-related issues in the scientific community, Inclusiveness, Good networking skills and Momentum for change.
If you're a results driven candidate who can take responsibility, then this a brilliant role for you. You must have substantial experience of implementing strategy for Diversity across organisations along with being a confident public speaker. You'll be leading on seminars and training. Finally, you must be able to influence key decision makers and build credible networks and partnerships both internally and externally.
