I'm working with an international human rights charity on a fixed term HR Advisor role until the end of December 2020. The charity is one of the largest in the world and they campaign against injustice. They do this through providing leadership, support and advice
The charity has its UK headquarters near Farringdon, and they are looking for a proactive HR Advisor to help support around 250 staff members both in the UK and internationally. The job will be initially working from home with the potential of going back into the office later in the year.
The HR Advisor job is a true HR generalist position. Some of the main duties that you'll be doing in the role will be advising and managing on key employment and HR issues. Through applying best HR practice at all times you'll work on employee relation cases, reviewing, updating polices and to update the UK and international Payroll records. Furthermore, you'll be involved with recruitment and the updating of the HRIS system when required.
This role will suit a calm and composed HR Advisor who has experience of working in the non-profit sector. The HR Advisor must have a track record of working with unions and a strong knowledge of UK law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also imperative. This is an exciting position with the possibility of extension and a very competitive salary.
