This high profile medical membership organisation are looking for a senior media professional to join them on an interim basis for an inital 6 weeks with the possibility of extension until the New Year.
Within this role you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the organisations media and reputation strategy. You will ensure the consistent delivery of high-profile, high-impact media activity, ensuring that the organisations reputation is strengthen and upheld.
You can look forward to line managing a team of 3, providing clear strategic direction and managing the ongoing programme of media and reputation work to ensure the media office is run effectively. Working with the team you will be identifying newsworthy project, events and developments in liaison with other colleagues around the organisation to help deliver the organisational objectives.
Further to this you will play a key role within the communications management team, working closely alongside the other senior members of the team to ensure all communications are fully integrated. You will also lead on the development of an ongoing media training programme and provide briefings to senior members of staff in connection with media interviews.
Please note this role will be remotely based for the forseeable future, with office space available in Central London if requried.
