Property Services Officer - Temporary

Our client a housing association with charitable aims is seeking an interim Property Services Officer, this role will be for approximately 3 months, this role sits in the property team and reports to the Asset & Property Manager.

This role is an administrative and customer services support role, you will be responsible for the following areas:

- Confirm appointments to tenants for various maintenance works, and liaison on logistics
- To complete repairs orders
- Organise small furnishings

- Raise orders for properties & premises for annual servicing e.g. gas, electrical fire
- To complete services orders, including checking and processing invoices

- Administer missed appointment procedure
- To monitor progress of work where necessary chase contractors, ensure all is logged appropriately
- To contribute to reviewing the quality and timeliness of contractor's work

Team Administration
- To lead on maintaining both the manual filing system & SASSHA database for the team
- In the absence of the team assistant to support with taking calls from tenants, contractors & colleagues regarding day to day repairs and services

Personal Specification
- Experience of dealing efficiently and accountably with property administration
- Experience of using property management databases
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
- Experience with communication with tenants as customers

A current DBS check is required for the role

Full-time 37.5 hours per week
East London (with remote working currently, subject to change)
£12.34ph - £13.25ph depending on experience
ASAP start, 2-3 months approx.
