About the role
A world-leading cancer charity is looking for a Supporter Care Administrator to provide high-quality supporter care, managing all queries and acting as the first point of contact for members of the public. This is a full-time 2-3 month contract offering a flexible hybrid working model between remote working and their central London based office.
As the Supporter Care Administrator, you will liaise with volunteers, supporters, and members of the public in a confident and friendly manner, whether this be through the charity's email inbox, in-person, or on the phone. You will take and process donations over the phone as well as assist the Fundraising Operations team on supporter care related tasks and in creating and maintaining supporter records on Raiser's Edge. You will also support Individual Fundraising Projects when required.
You will need the following skills and experience:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to interact with people of all backgrounds in a friendly, confident and approachable manner
* Experience of working in a customer facing/service role
* Experience of working in a Supporter Care team or similar environment
* Ability to prioritise a busy and varying workload and meet deadlines
