Job description

TRAID is looking for an Education Officer to join its Education and Campaigns team. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and be qualified teacher who is passionate about sustainability to deliver educational activities in schools with a specific focus on KS3 and KS4.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to TRAID's charitable objectives and be willing to travel within the Greater Lonodn area to deliver the eduactional initiatives. 

Purpose of the role

Working with schools, universities and civil society groups, TRAID delivers initiatives aimed at   equipping the UK public with the knowledge, skills and values needed to shape a more sustainable society, using the topic of clothes as a means to raise awareness of this important issue.  

This key post sits under the Education and Campaigns department which has played an instrumental role in educating the UK public on the social and environmental problems generated by the production, consumption and disposal of clothes.

 This is a part-time opportunity involving 14.5 hours a week to be split according to the demands of the role.
