About the role
We have secured Skills Funding Agency support through Skills Training UK to deliver the Skills Support for the Unemployed contract for Sandwell. As a member of a small, committed team, working collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, businesses and delivery partners, you will be responsible for recruiting unemployed learners from within communities.
You will take on a varied and interesting role with lots of space to make your own mark. You'll be delivering formal and informal training, engaging beneficiaries in successful learning, tracking learner progress and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities. You will share in planning, promoting, designing, scheduling and supporting a range of group and individual training and mentoring activities.
Taken all together this presents a varied and fascinating range of challenges. We want someone with good training skills, able to engage with those eligible to participate within the programme and supporting their involvement to completion. You will need to balance this with a professional approach to working with businesses and training providers.
