The team
Our team in Energy Saving Trust manages the national Home Energy Scotland service on behalf of the Scottish Government. Joining our team means joining an award-winning advice service that supports hundreds of thousands of households across Scotland every year to make their homes warmer, more affordable, and sustainable.
The climate emergency and the current fuel price crisis means the work of Home Energy Scotland has never been more important. Our team is making a real difference to people’s lives, and we are also growing rapidly. We need to recruit more skilled and dedicated people to join our team now.
Our team collaborate widely with colleagues in Energy Saving Trust, staff across the Home Energy Scotland network and many other partners across Scotland. You will be working with people and organisations to help tackle fuel poverty and the climate emergency, both directly, and through a network of regional advice centres covering all of Scotland.
The role
The role will lead the development, design and management of training programmes for Home Energy Scotland (HES) advisors, including our advisor induction programme which is certified by the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA).
What you’ll do
Working with the HES content and training developer, customer experience team and knowledge team, you will continuously improve advisor training methods and materials.
You will develop and oversee processes to maintain and improve the skills and knowledge for HES advisors. As well as this, you will integrate accessibility and inclusivity into all training and induction programmes to ensure that diverse learning needs are supported.

We have an exciting opportunity available to work closely with all areas of our ministry, managing the IT, AV and Health & Safety infrastructure across the organisation. The role is wide ranging and will best suit an individual keen to learn new skills, with training available to support development and knowledge growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

Provide IT support across all of the departments including databases, application forms (e.g. through TOAS & Formstack), Google Workspace, computer hardware, phone systems and networking.

To provide education, training and ongoing support of staff with all online systems, including Safety Cloud, Ninox, BrightHR and iHasco.

Management of the conference hall sound studio and mobile sound systems used for delivering the AV requirements of lectures, holidays and events across the site, including organising rotas and the training and supervision of students, staff members, ministry assistants and other voluntary workers in the running of it.

Oversight of the charity’s Health & Safety, working closely with our Health & Safety contractor (Citation) who act as our competent person, to maintain safe processes and practices that abide by regulations.
About you:

Essential Skills:
- Strong hardware and software IT skills, with the ability to maintain and develop our network of computer and internet systems, booking/application systems and the vast array of software needs

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Peterborough shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. You will also demonstrate an appreciation of Scope’s values and ambition of achieving Everyday Equality for disabled people.
About working in our shops
Our shops are the face of our retail brand, run by a dedicated, creative and passionate bunch of superstars. We focus on sustainable fashion and engaging with local communities. It’s important for you to know that Scope Charity Shops are open every day, so some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. We work 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven. Weekly hours for part-time vacancies are on a seven-day rota.

Right now, our Supported Housing service is looking for someone like you to support the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. Not only are we committed to putting them at the heart of everything we do, we recognise they should be involved in decisions that affect their future too. That’s why we need you to inspire and support them to lead their own recovery.
So, whether it’s helping to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations, developing domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities, your empathy, enthusiasm and compassion will have every chance to shine. Entering accurate case notes onto our IT system will be important too. And, when it comes to regularly liaising with GP surgeries, the local council, charities etc. or promoting the service within the community, again, we'll count on you.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. More important is your caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be happy to work both independently and within a team and willing to be part of a weekly rota system and available for on call duties.

Trafalgar House is a mental health, supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Torquay shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. You will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
About you
You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. You’ll also need to showcase a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and have a creative eye for displays. Right now, Richmond Fellowship is looking for an Employment Specialist to join our team in Leatherhead, Surrey. We help individuals with mental health problems to find paid employment. We also support people to retain their employment when they are struggling at work due to their mental health. We also advise and support employers about mental health in the workplace. But, it’s only possible with the help of people like you.
Your challenge? To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate work experience placements with local organisations/employers. Day to day, you’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with partner organisations, local employers and Mental Health teams and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments and reviews are completed in a timely manner.
As well as a good understanding of mental health problems and the issues and barriers this can create for our clients, you’ll need excellent motivational, presentation and listening skills and a willingness to travel in the local area and to work outside of office hours as required.
The post holder will be a car driver or have the ability to travel independently across a large geographical area within Surrey.
We have one positions available, based at Bradmere House in Leatherhead covering the Epsom & Mole Valley area.
This is a permanent full time post, requiring the post-holder to work 37.5 hours per week.

Are you ready to join the RBL’s Recovery Services Team to support the implementation of our exciting strategy that will deliver class leading Recovery Programmes to over 5,500 beneficiaries annually?
The RBL are committed to a significant expansion of Recovery Services, including an increase in the number and diversity of Recovery Programmes; delivery of Team UK to the Invictus Games; and the introduction of community follow-up programmes.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join the RBL Recovery Services Team, as Recovery Support Officers. These positions have been introduced to ensure our beneficiaries receive the best possible support.
As a Recovery Support Officer, you will work alongside expert coaches to deliver Recovery Programmes and activities which include adaptive sport, inclusive adventure activities, recovery through arts and the Invictus Games experience. You will be integral in maximising the recovery benefits of each programme and endorsing early intervention and sustained long term recovery.
This will be a highly rewarding role and you will be fully supported in gaining a full understanding of Recovery Service Programmes and the pathways that are available to beneficiaries, both internal to RBL and externally.
The role is based at the RBL’s Battle Back Centre, but you will also be supporting programmes which are delivered nationally and internationally. This may include extended periods away, weekends and providing out of hours support

What is Screen Share?
Screen Share is a grassroots refugee charity which provides laptops, phones, tablets, data, digital skills to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We use the power of volunteering to turn discarded tech into good quality techical tools for refugees to improve their situation on their own terms. We are now launching a laptop refurbishment training programme for refugees in London and are looking for someone to run it and provide ad-hoc technical support to our team of volunteer laptop refurbishers!
Role overview
Screen Share is looking for a proactive, self-starter and leader to launch a laptop refurbishment training programme for refugees in London, support tech volunteers to remotely refurbish laptops, respond to faults and perceived faults with devices we have provided to service users, and support with sourcing and refurbishing devices.
The postholder will have experience of at least Level 2 laptop repair and an interest in upskilling others in basic laptop refurbishment
Outcome 1
Co-design and co-deliver a laptop refurbishment training programme for 40 refugees and asylum seekers in London

Co-design a laptop refurbishment training programme for 40 refugees

Support with the logistics necessary for running a multi-cohort programme

Create resources for learners and guide them through refurbishment workshops

Respond to reported laptop faults by providing remote support or requesting a return

Provide technical support in laptop refurbishment and data destruction for staff, volunteers and prospective laptop donors

Be the contact point for tech volunteers and tech trainees who need support with the laptop refurbishment process.

Advise prospective tech donors on their data destruction options and best practice.

Support the Digital Access Project Manager with the technical elements of her role, ensuring the tech volunteers are following the most efficient standardised refurbishment process.

Think critically and collaboratively about our existing technical refurbishment process (including software, hardware, peopleware, charityware, and tech disposal), suggest alternatives to the methods currently used, support their implementation where appropriate and record that process of development.
