The Training Trainer supports the Training Manager in the design and delivery of specialist, evidence-informed trainings programmes for professionals supporting bereaved children, young people and parents across health, social care, community, voluntary and private sectors.

Using trauma-informed, evidence-based content delivered through both digital platforms and in-person, the role ensures professionals have practical tools to identify, respond to, support and/or refer bereaved children, young people and parents.

Main Responsibilities

• Working collaboratively with the Training Manager, external facilitators and the team’s administrator to co-ordinate training requests responses.
• Working with the Training Manager and colleagues, support the design of training programmes tailored to the needs of the training delegates.
• Deliver the organisation’s professional training packages online and/or face-to-face as required.
• Work with the team to ensure efficient flow of processes and procedures.
• Research key areas in need of bereavement training packages.
• Be an ambassador for the need for bereavement continued professional development and training across all health, social care, community, voluntary and private sector professions.
• To form key relationships with individuals and organisations to promote off-the-shelf training as well as bespoke trainings.

Department background

The Debt Advice Team at Toynbee Hall provides crucial support to individuals and families struggling with financial burdens. Funded by the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), this team delivers expert guidance and practical solutions to help clients manage and reduce their debt. 

Scope of Role

The Traineeship will last for 12 months. This role involves gaining practical experience by observing and participating in interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The role includes structured classroom-based learning, supervised practice, and mandatory secondments across partner advice agencies in London.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accurate, Effective, and Individually Tailored Advice

Work under supervision to observe and learn how to provide effective debt advice, including interviewing clients, researching options, and empowering clients to make informed decisions. 

2. Detailed Case Records

Assist in maintaining detailed case records, ensuring all work meets auditing and quality standards, and meets funder requirements. 

3. Training and Development

Complete a structured training programme within the six-month period, covering technical debt advice, client management, and financial regulations. About You and The Role

The Artist/Producer is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of Modern Art Oxford’s early years projects including our co-learning, sensory play project Make Play, holiday workshops and welcome tours and activities for primary schools, charities, and community groups.

Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme recognises and celebrates children, as active participants in our shared society. Established in 2017, Make Play is one of the core strands of our programmes for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The Artist/Producer takes a lead role in developing activities in response to the temporary exhibitions programme, working closely with the Curator Communities, Practice & Participation to ensure a holistic and well-curated offer throughout the year.

Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme engages more than 1,000 children, parents, and carers each year through our regular sessions at the gallery and offsite with local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Workshop and Programme Delivery

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working in Early Years education, strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy, child-centred and inclusive practice, experience working with artists, facilitators, or creative practitioners and experience of delivering projects and workshops in art galleries and museums with demonstrable experience of working with diverse materials and media.

They will have confidence managing multiple projects, partnerships, and delivery locations, be self-motivated and collaborative with excellent communication and relationship building skills, good IT, administrative and organisational skills.

The ability to work weekends, knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion practices and procedures and a DBS check and training in safeguarding are also required. First Aid training is desirable.

Girlguiding is looking for a creative project coordinator with a background in youth programme, event and activity creation, and with experience of facilitation and coordination of youth participation opportunities for young people. We are looking to create a new offer for our 11-18 year old age group to sit alongside our current youth offer, and to do this we hope to involve the voices of girls in and out of guiding throughout this innovation and development phase.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Broad experience in developing youth programmes, resources or activities, ideally spanning informal learning, participation, or personal development.
• Proven experience of youth co‑creation or youth participation, with a passion for youth voice.
• Strong project coordination skills, confident at working to timelines across multiple workstreams, and engaging adults and young people as part of stakeholder engagement .
• An understanding of the opportunities and challenges of a volunteer-run youth work offer within member‑based or volunteer‑led organisations.

About the role

This is an exciting role within the Lived Experience Insight team, focusing on development and co-ordination of an engaging and impactful involvement and coproduction programme that delivers meaningful opportunities for people with lived experience of the housing emergency to shape and influence Shelter’s work. You will lead on planning and delivery of Lived Experience Insight across your directorate through front line delivery in the CPC Directorate and supportive line management.

We’re looking for someone who can lead and develop meaningful lived experience insight work that helps shape services, influence change and strengthen co-production across Shelter. You’ll work closely with teams across your directorate and nationally to coordinate insight projects, share learning and embed lived experience into decision-making and ways of working. The role requires you to support wellbeing, safeguarding and personal development for people involved in our work and helping create pathways into volunteering and employment. You’ll also design and deliver training and resources for colleagues, while ensuring activity is well monitored, evaluated and continuously improved.

The Lived Experience Insight team deliver involvement and co-production activities across the organisation, which shape the ongoing design, delivery and governance of Shelter’s work. People with lived experience are involved in a range of ways, including lived experience groups, codesigning Shelter's services and campaigns, sharing decision making on staff recruitment and supporting external influencing and systemic change via consultation and coproduction with key stakeholders.

Community Coach

As a member of the Community Team, you will provide vital support to people who have completed our course in prison and are now in the community working to find the stability they need to realise their potential, achieve their goals and rebuild their lives after prison.

This is an exciting time to join our Community Team as we look to broaden and deepen the support we offer participants as they leave prison. You will help shape our offer to participants; drawing on your experiences and creativity and working with our other Community Coaches to trial new approaches.

Partnership working plays an important part of the role, and you’ll get to connect with employers, partners and statutory organisations to support participants as they build a life after prison.

This role would be ideal for someone with a good understanding of the challenges faced by those caught up in the criminal justice system, gained through personal experience, paid work or volunteering.

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking an Area Giving and Finance Adviser (Stepney) to play a key role within the Area Finance team, based at Causton Street.

Job Summary

The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.

Job responsibilities

Financial support 

• Enable churches to develop their respective ministries, manage their finances effectively, and meet their statutory responsibilities. 
• Provide finance and other appropriate training, support, resources and advice to the clergy, PCCs and parish officers. 
• Assist the Bishop, Archdeacons and Area Deans in managing Common Fund giving by the churches in the Area. 
• Facilitate and monitor the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds. 
• Support the Area Bishop’s staff team and Area Council in monitoring the use of Area resources, including post numbers, curate funding and other matters. 

Giving 

• Supporting parishes to encourage a culture of generosity and giving.
• Promote generous giving through training, preaching and providing resources to clergy and parish officers. 
• Support the introduction of different methods of giving, including online, contactless, and Parish Giving Scheme. 

Relationship management 

• Build relationships with, and promote effective communication between, the Area team, Finance team, parish officers and the other Area Finance Advisers.  Work with the National Giving Team on projects that support parish ministry.

• The role will require regular evening and weekend working.
