About the role:
As a Recruitment/HR Administrator, you will be joining a small dedicated Recruitment team providing an effective and efficient recruitment service to meet the organisation’s resourcing and staffing needs. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries and requests to the team; providing a high level of customer service throughout the recruitment cycle.
You will also be responsible for carrying out the administrative tasks for the recruitment and on-boarding of new staff and ensuring that our recruitment processes, continue to adhere to best practice, equality, fairness and relevant employment legislation. You will also be involved in the wider HR team's Projects on EDI and organisational changes, this will include designing and delivering training to hiring managers and wider SHP staff.

There is ample opportunity for the role to be worked from home, with an occasional need (e.g., 1-2 days per week) to attend our head office in King's Cross to facilitate interviews, attend team meetings and other business needs.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment within HR and or recruitment with experience of working with and maintaining HR and Recruitment systems, including but not limited to ATS (applicant tracking system), payroll, HR and DBS services.
- A strong understanding of the key administrative tasks carried out within a recruitment process and of the legal requirements of the recruitment process and HR department.
- A pro-active approach and ability to work using own initiative.
- Able to understand and follow written policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and securely protect data with an attention to detail with the ability to process and update information accurately.
- Strong time management skills, able to effectively manage workload, multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to use MS Office package (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook) at an intermediate level.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of people from candidates to hiring managers etc. and ability to work effectively as part of a team and build good working relationships at all levels.

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the Hounslow Reach team.
Floating Support services work with people to sustain their housing. We use a strength-based approach to work with people to identify what support they require and how we can address them together or / and in collaboration with others e.g. landlords, Department of Work and pension or mental health services.
We can support people for the duration of their tenancy, or we can provide short term intervention. We can provide resettlement support when a tenancy commences, and we can equip people with the skills to manage their home and goals independently or when they are move on ready and require minimal support.
You will:
- Provide a flexible and responsive service to people with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
- Manage and coach staff to deliver safe and person-centred support to people with support needs across dispersed community locations.
- Effectively work in partnership with the management team.

About this role…
Thames Reach’s Outreach teams operate across London and help those who are rough sleeping to find routes away from the street. The teams respond to referrals and work flexibly to reach London’s most vulnerable. Individuals are assessed to identify their support needs and support plans are created, including work to obtain identification, access health services and refer to other specialist agencies, including those with immigration issues.
We are looking for a Lead Worker to join the Hillingdon Street Outreach Team.
You will:
- Lead outreach shifts, providing a rapid response to referrals for people who are rough sleeping in the borough.
- Take a lead role within the team, working closely with support workers and assistant support workers to identify the quickest and most appropriate route off the street for people found rough sleeping, and devise plans to achieve this.
- Provide direct support to people who are found rough sleeping to enable them to move away from the streets and into accommodation.
- Work alongside partner agencies to ensure that clients are accessing appropriate support to access and sustain accommodation.
- Represent the team at multi-agency meetings.
- Accurately record all work completed within given timeframes.
To succeed as the Lead Worker, you will have:
- A strong commitment to providing a high standard of service.
- Experience working with people who have rough slept or vulnerable adults and supporting them to access services.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills in order to remain strongly outcome focused, with the ability to coordinate a high number of cases and complete tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and confidence in public speaking when representing Thames Reach externally.
- Experience in forming strong working relationships with partner agencies, being able to challenge them when required.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to use Outlook, online recording systems, Excel, and Word, using a tablet and a smart phone.
- A clean driving license (desirable).

We are delighted to be expanding our services in the London Borough of Ealing for those who cannot or do not want to access refuge but who need support because of domestic violence. As a result, we are currently seeking a Men’s Outreach Worker to join our amazing team on a part-time basis for a fixed term contract until March 2025.

The Role
As a Men’s Outreach Worker, you will provide high-quality support to male victims and survivors of domestic abuse who are living in the local community. Facilitating access to a range of interventions and support measures, you’ll work with local and national services to improve and achieve the best outcomes for men, ensuring compliance with our standards, contract assessments and monitoring framework. You will also provide trauma-informed support to a caseload of men and women who are experiencing domestic violence, including those who are high-risk referred through MARAC.
Additionally, you will:
- Produce individual support plans
- Organise and deliver support sessions
- Provide effective advice and advocacy services
- Support the training and development of new staff and volunteers
- Ensure that accurate and up to date records are maintained
About You
To be considered as a Men’s Outreach Support Worker, you will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable male adults from diverse backgrounds
- Experience of supporting male survivors of DVA
- Experience of undertaking individual assessments and devising support plans
- Experience of working collaboratively with external agencies
- Knowledge of the impact that DVA has upon service users and their children
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, such as the Children’s Act, Community Care Act, Domestic Violence Legislation, Housing Act, MARAC protocol
- A working knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits, safeguarding children and adult, child protection, social and voluntary services approaches
- Demonstrable knowledge of strategies to empower service users to address issues of DVA
- A good understanding of confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries

Responsible to Director of Services (subject to review)
Purpose of Post To support users of services through an education, training, and employability programme integrated with SCT’s wider services and enterprise offer, as well as partner opportunities in the wider community. To oversee and coordinate access to SCT’s Training and Development tutor-led activities including art, creative writing, digital skills, gardening, literacy, woodwork, and peer-led ‘Choices’ groups, and to monitor people’s progress over time.

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity embedded in the local community, providing practical support and training to people affected by homelessness and addictions so they can rebuild their lives. We have a Recovery Hub in Shoreditch, where we run an abstinence-based residential recovery service (‘Acorn House’), and a Training and Development service, including tutor-led art, creative writing, digital skills, gardening, literacy, and woodwork. In addition, we run Housing First and Supported Housing services, both in East London. We also have eight charity shops and two social enterprises, which give us a presence in the wider East London community while generating valuable funds.

This includes those in early recovery who are resident in our abstinent-based recovery service (‘Acorn House’), as well as those in our move-on house and the wider community who may be more established in their recovery. SCT’s Progression Worker supports those accessing our services to explore ETE opportunities, offering tailored, individually specific support to help them reach their full potential. The Compass Project is a Bristol Social Enterprise founded in April 2012 set up for and informed by people in Recovery from Addiction and its related Mental Health and Social Consequences, and managed by a team of skilled professionals and trained mentors. Its main focus is to help others recovering from addiction and mental health issues, so they can receive the support, skills and direction to enable them to feel, empowered, and be confident enough that they have the necessary skills to move into mainstream society and live lives that are free from the harmful consequences of Addiction, living freely, happily, autonomously and independently.
Compass supports the teaching of skills such as IT, English, CV Building, Driving, Retail Sales & Management, Recycling, Gardening, Property Maintenance, Furniture Restoration, Handy Man Services, Managing Donations, Stock Management, Customer Service, Time & Attitude & Behaviour Management, Self-Management, Conflict Management, Relational Confidence, Building Supportfull and Enabling Relationships. Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively, pragmatically and enthusiastically with group senior management to ensure outcomes are met and delivered in line with the Group business plan
- Maximise income by ensuring a great retail offer, excellent customer service and communication, supporting services offered, efficient stock rotation, collection and delivery schedules, active grant applications and good use of financial data.
- Address where necessary and seek further support where required in addressing any concerns or contraventions to our Code of Conduct and provide regular inductions, re-inductions and appraisals using a reward and recognition system.

Summary of the Role
The Pathways Team serves to empower clients to make the journey from homelessness to belonging in community (this could include employment or other meaningful activities). About the role
- Leading on a busy needle exchange service, you will offer harm reduction advice & support to all people who access the service.
- You will oversee stock levels and ordering of new supplies, with an emphasis on ensuring all stock is stored safely.
- You will ensure policies, procedures, and quality control are in place for all people and staff when carrying out the Needle Exchange and further develop good practice.
- Delivering a non-judgemental, non-coercive needle exchange service that centres each person’s own goals in regard to their substance use and overall wellness.
- You will lead on delivery of Naloxone distribution & training internally and to external partners
- You have excellent communication skills and can create positive working relationships with a wide range of people, including external services.
- You will support the development of the service and ensure that you are delivering a solution-focussed and strength-based approach.
