This is a new role, and you will be joining the team at an exciting point in its development, as we consider how we evolve the work. You will work closely with our Community Impact Lead to support both the delivery and the development of our community work. The Community Impact work at Resource Futures is an important part of our business; it captures a number of long-term projects which are at the heart of our company. These include Community RePaint, Community Action Groups Devon, Community Action Groups Somerset, the Fixy project, the Gloucestershire Real Nappy Project and more.
We are looking to build on our strengths and track record of delivering quality, impactful community projects. We therefore have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Community Impact team.
What you will be doing
- Project delivery: Getting involved in project delivery, such as foundational research for project development and delivering workshops.
- Project management: Overseeing the effective delivery of projects, including reporting, and supporting the planning and set up of new projects as they come online.
- Innovation and Development: Supporting us to improve and expand our projects and programmes. You will also assist in identifying new projects or funding opportunities and contribute to the preparation of funding proposals. This may involve exploring options for the governance structure of this area of work.
- Marketing and communications: Promoting our projects, developing our external communications and acting as an ambassador for our community work.
- Monitoring and evaluation: We are on a journey to better capture the impact of specific projects, and the impact that our community work has collectively. You will take an active role in supporting this element of our work.
- Partnership working: Collaboration is key to our approach. You will liaise with existing clients and partners for project delivery, develop new partnerships to further our aims and also take part in key networking and external events.
- Team development: You will work closely with the Community Impact Lead to contribute to the development of the team, during our team meetings and away days. You will be comfortable managing staff, teams and subcontractors to deliver desired outcomes.
- Day-to-day operations: Working closely with the Community Impact Lead, HR and Finance, to support our remote project teams, problem solve issues as they arise, develop our internal systems and processes, maximise efficiencies and drive improvements.

Who you are:

An experienced professional with an in-depth understanding of and subject matter expertise on working with businesses on responsible recruitment, ethical labour practices and modern slavery, and significant experience in business engagement/developing and managing senior management corporate sponsor relations (min. 5 years’ experience).

Snow Camp is a ground-breaking national youth charity, and we are looking to recruit a fantastic new North West Wellbeing Manager and Programme Support to join our North West team on a 4 day a week contract (30 hrs).
Our accredited programmes are unique and attractive to young people, taking them from beginner to qualified snowsports instructors in just one year with volunteering and apprenticeship progression routes available at the end. Alongside learning to ski or snowboard, young people also have access to wellbeing support with the emphasis on improving young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
You will report to the North West Programme Manager & Head of Snowsports and will be responsible for the delivery of our wellbeing workshops and providing 1to1 wellbeing support sessions to young people. You will also work as part of the North West team to assist with the planning and delivery of snowsports and life-skills focused youth activities run by the Programme Manager and assist with the apprenticeship programme throughout each year.
Experience of working successfully with under-served young people in a range of settings, with a focus on supporting young people’s wellbeing will be essential to the post. Passion for snowsports and supporting young people generally will be a huge advantage!
Youth work, wellbeing support experience, project management, logistical skills, managing relationships, communication and presentation skills will make up the role. Along with experience of delivering group workshops to help young people work towards meaningful goals to improve their emotional wellbeing.
Job Description
- You will spend roughly 2.5 days will be in the Wellbeing Manager role and 1.5 days will be in the Programme Support role each week.
- In consultation with the Programme Manager, to manage the delivery of the Wellbeing Workshops and 1to1 mentoring support needed for young people and apprentices.
- Work with the programme manager to gain the young people’s trust and confidence.
- To assist with delivery and development of The North West’s full snowsports focused journey of youth programmes which take place at Chill Factore.
- Build a good relationship with the North West Programme Manager to help provide support and guidance to young people.
- Support with the management of (currently) 3 x North West apprentices on their 1-year Snow Camp Apprenticeship programme. particularly helping to manage their wellbeing and signpost to other services where needed.
- Ensuring the apprentices have clear personal development plans and objectives.
- Provide effective and inspiring leadership to apprentices and young people.
- Providing weekly 1to1 support sessions for each apprentice.
- Having an understanding and an involvement in the development of their weekly working rotas.
- Supporting with NVQ work & assisting with any challenges that may be faced.
- Ensuring apprentices are involved and supported working on all Snow Camp programmes as the North West staff team.
- Complete Personal Development Plans and Wellbeing Assessments as required with apprentices.
- Attend regular meetings with the other regional Wellbeing Managers to provide a consistent approach and building resources focused on improving young people’s wellbeing.
- Outside of programme days, provide one-to-one mentoring sessions to young people, in-person or remotely, focusing on their well-being and offering support so they can cope with the Snow Camp programme and improve their general wellbeing.
- Be a key team member on the overseas residential for the Excel programme during the Easter holidays. *Valid passport for travel in Europe & Andorra required.
- Use our UPSHOT online database system to keep records and ensure all monitoring and evaluation is carried out.
- Attend external training as required (e.g. Safeguarding and Mental Health Awareness tutor training courses).
- Ensure that all activities and provision you deliver is done safely and in line with organisational policies.
- Support the Programme Manager to ensure all programmes run smoothly and effectively by supporting the delivery of each programme – managing venue instructors, guest speakers, apprentices, youth staff, sessional staff and volunteers as required.
- Support the Programme Manager with recruiting young people for each programme through visits to youth projects, promotion through email to all relevant youth programmes and services and presenting at key stakeholder meetings on youth service provision. Finding new young people in the North West area to support by Snow-Camp will be key.
- Support the Programme Manager with programme administration including finances, SLAs, attendance records, risk assessments, bookings and young people’s records on Upshot.
- Support with management and delivery of trips and overseas residential’s (Snow-Camp Excel, Apprenticeship & Youth Forum Residential’s) as part of Snow-Camp programmes. Including support with all the necessary risk assessments.

Essential Criteria

- Sound knowledge of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Management and support
The North West Wellbeing Manager & Programme Support will report to the North West Programme Manager & Head of Snowsports Morv Bett who will provide support and guidance.
The Trustee board will determine the overall direction of Snow Camp and will set the overall priorities in consultation with the Director and Senior Team.

About The Role
A core strand of The Money Charity’s offering is helping adults in their place of work or in their local community to build the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours to manage their money well. Our work has never been more needed with the pressures of the cost of living crisis, which whilst having a material impact on many people’s Financial Resilience, has opened up opportunities to talk to people about money and help them engage with their finances at this challenging time.
We do this by partnering with employers and community organisations to deliver a range of interactive Financial Wellbeing Workshops and Webinars to employees, volunteers and service users. The sessions are engaging, interactive and bring the topic of money management to life. Details of the sessions we currently offer, including the formats, can be found in our Workplace and Community Guides, published on our website.
We are looking for a new Freelance Consultant to add to our network of Financial Wellbeing specialists who deliver our sessions both in their region and virtually. The successful candidate will deliver Workshops both virtually (primarily via Zoom or Microsoft Teams) and face-to-face. This role will therefore involve a reasonable amount of travel within your region and occasionally more widely across the UK.
This Consultant will deliver both funded (free-of-charge) in Community settings and commercial (paid-for) Workshops in the Workplace. From time to time Consultants may also be used to support the delivery of a range of Financial Wellbeing Consultancy projects which can include, but is not limited to, the development and/or delivery of bespoke Workshops and Webinars.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery & Development
- Deliver The Money Charity’s Financial Wellbeing sessions in Workplaces and/or adult Community settings in your region and virtually, in accordance with the process and quality standards set out by the charity
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and host organisations
- Effectively engaging participants by presenting sessions in a clear, concise, creative and engaging manner, ensuring delivery is appropriate to the audience of each setting as far as possible and that learning objectives are met
- Work collaboratively with charity staff to support programme delivery, including administrative and logistical support
- Support the continuous development and innovation of sessions and other programme content by providing feedback to programme teams in an honest and timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with financial products, current events, news and issues and relevant Financial Capability sector developments to ensure knowledge base for delivering high-quality sessions is sustained
- Delivery of Consultancy projects, allocated based on client needs and Consultant capabilities, working with other Consultants and staff of TMC to complete projects as required
- Contribute to the evaluation of Financial Wellbeing sessions and programme activities in collaboration with relevant charity staff and external partners

Screen Share is a grassroots refugee charity which provides laptops, phones, tablets, data, digital skills to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We use the power of volunteering to turn discarded tech into good quality techical tools for refugees to improve their situation on their own terms. Role overview

About this key role
As our Beyond the Gate Caseworker, you will provide a community-based service that engages, motivates and facilitates those on license to make progress, through a range of one-to-one sessions, group activities, training and supportive measures. You will work with your caseload of clients to produce individual action plans that support them to overcome social inclusion barriers, including housing, substance misuse, relationships, training, employment, finance debt and benefit, and deliver a range of planned custody and community assessments and interventions that keep clients engaged, motivated, and making progress.

Job Description
LMK is looking for passionate and organised educators (LMK Leaders) to run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable, workshops you will help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe.
The minimum hours required per workshop is 3 hrs. This includes arriving 30 minutes before delivery, 1.5 to 2 hrs delivery and then remaining back 10 minutes and being accessible to young people who would like further information or a one-to-one conversation, surrounding the subject of relationships.
There is also 30 minutes admin, which is usually completed off-site, such as inputting student surveys and a Leader survey.
