The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers whose lives are affected by aphasia, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:
· Support stroke survivors and their carers to develop appropriate communication strategies and practices, Build confidence in the use of these communication strategies in order to live life with maximum independence
· Run an effective service for stroke survivors and carers, including face to face, digital and online resources, ensuring that confidential and accurate records are kept on our CRM data base
· Provide personalised information, advice and supportEnable stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
· Work with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support
About You
Knowledge, skills and experience you will ideally have:
· Background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities
· Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records

· A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload

The Role

Humanists International is embarking on a 2-year programme of work in order to realize some long-term improvements to the Freedom of Thought Report. We are looking for an enthusiastic research coordinator to join our team and participate in all stages of the publication process.
As a research coordinator you will support the Casework & Campaigns Manager to administer, plan and produce the Freedom of Thought Report, providing evidenced-based research to shape and influence human rights policy as it pertains to the non-religious.
This is a predominantly home-based role, but does require the attendance of in-person events such as the General Assembly and Team Building, as required.

The Role

This role will primarily develop new groups across the northwest region and will ensure successful delivery of those services. They are designed to provide information and emotional and practical support both online and face-to-face.
You’ll play a key role in supporting and developing our secondary services in the northwest of England and will be working with the services manager for secondary breast cancer and a team of coordinators who are based across the UK.
You’ll liaise with venues, expert speakers and support our team of dedicated qualified sessional therapists, as well as providing technical support for the running of monthly online services. You’ll also build productive relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase their reach and uptake.
This role ensures Breast Cancer Now can make big strides forward in supporting everyone who needs us by making our services more widely available and increasing awareness of them.
About you
We’re looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering health, information, or other support services, who will enjoy managing relationships with a range of different stakeholders, often remotely.

We are currently looking for two Quality Coordinators to join our national team on a full time fixed term contract for 12 months initially. (We are also recruiting for a 6 month FTC - Please apply for this separately if you would also like to be considered)
The Quality Coordinator will work together collaboratively with the Personal Support operational team to provide guidance and coaching so we can provide safe, reliable and stable services, and use Person Centred Practices that deliver Improved Experiences and Outcomes for people.
Working with a focus on audit and improvement, Health and Safety and Practice your work plan will include undertaking agreed independent reviews and audits against the ‘What Matters Most’* standards and regulatory compliance. You will support the development of the quality and practice skills of managers and support workers using coaching and positive role modelling.
It is a challenging role working across the Quality Directorate and you must be willing to travel nationally and to stay away from home on a regular basis (weekly). You will get support with all areas of the work and an in-depth induction.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Manager of Online Mentoring. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of our online mentoring platform, ensuring that it effectively connects our mentees with skilled mentors who can provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the strategic direction of Aleto Foundation's online mentoring programme, aligning it with the organisation's mission and objectives.

Develop and manage relationships with mentors and mentees, ensuring that both parties have a positive and enriching experience.

Design and implement processes and procedures for mentor and mentee matching, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes.

Collaborate with the platform provider to enhance and optimise the online mentoring platform, incorporating feedback and innovative ideas to improve user experience.

Provide training and support to mentors and mentees, equipping them with the skills and resources needed for effective mentoring relationships.

Track and analyse programme metrics and outcomes, preparing reports for stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.

Stay informed about best practices and trends in mentoring and online learning, integrating new ideas and approaches into the programme as appropriate.
Qualifications:

Experience in managing or using an online mentoring platform is desirable but not essential.

Experience of mentoring, coaching, or talent development is desirable but not essential.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and evaluate programmes and initiatives.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Experience working in the nonprofit sector, particularly in the areas of social mobility or education, is desirable but not required.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

Passionate about making a positive impact and committed to advancing social mobility and equality of opportunity.

IT proficiency and experience of project management tools.
