Status: Permanent term. Part time, 28 hours per week.

We are looking for a talented Senior Learning and Development Officer to join our Research in Practice Adults Social Care team. Our ideal candidate will have experience of leading on the design, development, commissioning and quality assurance of learning and development materials to support workforce development and Continued Professional Development. We are seeking candidates with a good understanding of adult social care, and/or related sectors.
Up to date knowledge of learning requirements for adult social work and occupational therapy and understanding of current learning theory and methods for CPD would both be advantageous. With a relevant degree and work experience, you will be an organised, positive and IT-literate professional.
You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and used to collaborative working. Above all, you will share our passion for helping others to use evidence to improve the lives of adults and their families. Research in Practice works with organisations across the children and adults social care, health and criminal justice sectors, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work. Main duties and responsibilities

To develop engaging and accessible learning resources using a range of different formats, which supports learners to develop essential skills through leadership opportunities.

To build and deliver online learning and training for both learners and tutors.

To use data and research available to generate ideas and concepts for new and existing programmes.

To support engagement with centres (customers) and learners to gather feedback and grow ideas to support programme development.

To collaborate with suppliers such as graphic designers, when required, to develop high quality, visually appealing branded learning resources.

To support projects with third party suppliers or subject matter experts when required, to meet customer need.

To develop, enhance and sustain close working relationships with colleagues to support the programme development process.

To keep up to date with relevant insights and emerging trends to enhance the learning experiences we can provide.

As the Training Programmes Manager you will have oversight and responsibility for the healthcare professional training projects and activities, as well as growing the M4RD network within HCP groups and training institutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Worcestershire. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to join us in delivering a comprehensive Stroke Recovery Service across the region.
Position: S11158 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Worcestershire, however, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Salary: Circa £17,546 per annum (FTE circa £25,500 per annum)
Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2025. Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2025.

The Role
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. As a coordinator you will provide personalised information, advice and support with regular reviews throughout.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Working with the local Health and Social services to receive referrals to support stroke survivors and their carers
· Providing personalised information, advice and support to address any needs identified
· Completing Needs Assessments with stroke survivors and supporting them to develop a stroke recovery plan
· Providing regular reviews to support people in establishing and achieving their own personal goals.
· Completing 6-month Post Stroke Reviews
About You
You will:
· Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities
· Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.
· Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs
· Have the ability to use basic Microsoft system
