Job description

We are looking to recruit a passionate and charismatic Training Coordinator to support the Therapeutic Support team in a brand-new role. We are seeking an individual who has outstanding leadership and organisational skills to help us grow and coordinate a growing team of trainers.

Over the past 12 months we have trained thousands of volunteers, youth workers, and teachers on our online Emotional Rollercoaster and Emotional First Aid training. As our team grows we are looking to increase our capacity to bring more support to those on the ‘front line’. Not everyone needs to be a specialist, but we are passionate about equipping those who walk alongside others in the day-to-day.

The Therapeutic Support Training Coordinator will play a vital role in helping us achieve our vision. The post-holder will have excellent people skills and prior knowledge/experience of providing therapeutic services in order to effectively deliver training in this area. They will also have strong leadership and organisational skills to successfully lead a training team.

TLG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and their families and expects all staff including volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

We would welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds to enable us to better reflect the needs of the communities we serve.

The closing date for applications is 5pm Monday 17th May 2021. Initial interviews will be scheduled for the 19th & 20th May 2021.
