Job Description

Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. Last year, Dogs Trust centres cared for over 17,000 dogs; we never put a healthy dog down.

Dogs Trust operates Microsoft GP Advanced Bank Reconciliation software.  We are seeking a Treasury Accountant to take responsibility for completing bank reconciliations using this system, improving the control environment and liaising with other departments to ensure the information provided to finance is timely & of sufficient quality.  The post holder will liaise with external auditors as necessary and prepare schedules for year-end audit ensuring all queries are appropriately followed up. You will have significant experience working in a similar role with proficiency in Microsoft GP and Office especially Excel.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative, with a flexible but methodical approach to work.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and happy to work in a busy team environment and a commitment to the aims and values of Dogs Trust.
